Do Americans really believe the war in Iraq is going to yield something good for them, and do they believe that the situation can actually get any worse if troops are pulled out?

Also, did they believe the war was over 3 years ago when Pres. Bush was on that aircraft carrier, claiming that the "mission was accomplished", did they believe the people in Iraq were just going to lay down their weapons and not put up a fight after the initial invasion, and was it a good thing to take Sadam Hussein out of power and have him executed? Has or has this helped or harmed America's position in terms of possible terrorist attacks in the future? Is Bin Laden still an issue? Will it matter if he is captured or not?

No very few people think so, and they're really stupid. As for the whole "mission accomplished" thing he lies everyday so no one really paid attention accept when they wanted to mock him.

Wars are always political and that means that governments are always involved. I'm with you. I too believe that there are many negative aspects of war in general, mainly the great loss of life. But, I believe that the main purpose of any war would have to be the loss of equipment and therefore the need to replace that equipment. All of the equipment that American Soldiers use is made right here in the United States of America or at least the United States of America is benefiting, politically, from it's production else where. So, there is a benefit to the war in Iraq, it's just not as well seen and it is not where near Iraq.

I think that Iraq is an excellent place to retain a foothold in the Middle East in order to beat Iran into submission. It is all too often that we are getting reports of Iran funding the violence in Iraq. I hope that Iran is next.

What is done in Iraq has already produced good things. It gave us a place to land, and it has provided intelligence as to who's causing the trouble. Iran is led by a few nutcases who need to be relieved from their duties.

If we hadn't invaded Iraq, we wouldn't be fighting there. We would be fighting here in the US. For every nutcase in Iraq we kill over there, it's one less that we must deal with here in America.

At least the 26% of people who think Bush is smart say yes. One of my best friends will attack people if you say the War is a mess.

I do and any thinking person know the situation would deteriorate rapidly if we ran with out tale between our legs like a Democrat.
