If you would like to try an experiment in fish husbandry,(spawning),get 4 or 5 more of the same specie of Corys. They are schooling fish that really come into their own in larger groups. Feed them a hearty diet with veggies like smashed peas or blanched squash(zucchini) as well as some meatier fare like frozen shrimp or worms. In a large group their behavior changes(they are less timid, and more"playful"). If the water conditions are kept clean (weekly 25% changes and gravel vacuuming) you will be rewarded with little Corys when they reach maturity.

Well, considering the fact that corydoras are schooling fish I would get at least 1 more. Now before I get any further, the 1' per gallon rule doesn't seem to ever work to well. It mainly depnds on the size of the fish and where they stay in a tank. i would recommend getting 1 male betta or 2 females, plus 2 ottocinclus and a couple of ghost shrimp. Or you could get 3 or 4 guppies, the shrimp and ottos. Or get 2 female platies or dalmation mollies, the ottos, and ghost shrimp. Basically, any tropical community fish. just remeber, corydoras are intolerant to salt. the best meds for them are Pimafix and Melafix.

Getting more fish is fun but remember.... Putting to many fish in a tank at once isnt good. Buy one a week and introduce it to the tank.
Tropical fish are beautiful. Your pet store will show you all kinds and tell you which ones go together.
I have all live bearers in my tank. Guppies, mollies, platies, swords.
Got alot of babies also.

I would also suggest another cory. Beyond that, there are a lot of fish that would do well with them. Your most limiting factor is your tank size. If you want color, you could try livebearers such as platies (moons) or guppies (get males if you don't want fry), a dwarf gourami, or some smaller tetras. If you look at this website, you'll get ideas by looking through the community recommendations to see the species with which they are compatible: http://www.elmersaquarium.com/10cat_cory.htm Just keep your tank size in mind!

You should add some guppies or platies. They add some color to your tank. To feed catfish, buy sinking algae wafers and drop it into the tank. They'll eat it like crazy.
