I think it is ridiculous that there is only one 2000 calorie diet when it is obvious that women are smaller and supposed to eat and weigh less than men. I think that might be why some women are overweight is because they are going by serving sizes that are too much for them. I think girls should be educated in school that they should eat smaller meals than men. Agreed?

Uhhh what? It's not about serving size as much as it is about what you're eating in the first place. If anything needs to be changed in schools, it's the god awful food they serve. :)

I have a more muscular build for a girl, not fat, but bigger. Does that mean you don't love me anymore? I eat less than 2000 calories. Not all women are smaller than men. In fact, despite the obesity epidemic in America, I have observed over the years women are getting bigger than men. If you go to the store and start looking at middle aged couples I have noticed that many women appear to have more muscle mass than their spouses. Some weigh more but many are not what I would classify as fat or obese.

I'm not worried about that at all becuz I only eat when I'm starting to shake all over from hunger; when that happens I never fill my plate full of food, I just grab one thing such as a container of yogurt, sprinkle wheatgerm on it, like I've been up for a few hours now and I'm still eating from the same one serving yogurt container.

I completely agree with you ! It's amazing that no one has ever brought this up before. When I look at the "suggested serving size" I think they must be talking about a man. It concerns me that women don't take this into consideration.

No, not agreed. I think adults should know the proper proportions to eat. And some men are naturally small as some women are bigger than some men naturally.

No, Sandstorm, all women are NOT smaller than men. Boy are you headed for trouble with this one. By the way, have you seen professional female boxers, or Olympic shot-put throwers? I'm sure they aren't smaller than you; and I'm sure that they'd be happy to tell you that to your face, buddy!!
