no. definitely not, i want my kids to grow up with good morals, have a sense of self worth, be true honest working helping people. i spent way to many years drugging and living by my own rules. i don't want my children to even consider making the choices i did growing up.God that's a scary question. makes you look into yourself. never thought of it before, i don't hide from my past i try to confront it head on, each day is another day of recovery for me. if i could want anything from my children being like me, that would be once they make up there minds to do something they do it, that is about the only good trait i ever possessed, I'm rambling really tired. good question. 2 points. the answer NO. but ill try my damnedest to teach them life is what they make of it, be there own person, live life for no one but them selves. and hope and pray none of my past hate and self destructive attitude is genetic. lol

Ok, no.
I'm not sure in what way you are asking "Do you want your children to be like yourself when they grow up?". Perhaps you are talking about culture/traditions. The only tradition I want them to have similar with me is my religion(of course they will have to follow my religion's rules) :). I do believe that my children should be allowed freedom of music choice, entertainment choices (Tv, games, or w/e they have), and other things as they are part of tradition although most people don't put it that way.
If you mean in personality they should have their own personality because I definetly did not have my dad's personality. As long as their personality isn't crazy and as you pobably know that there are some pretty crazy personality out there.
If you mean intellectually then yes. I mean I dont mind if they arent as smart as me or even more or less. But I sure do want smart children. It' pretty hard to live with the opposite (My brother) but it'll come out Ok :).
If you mean by looks then of Course! I mean I look pretty awesome lol. But w/e that doesnt matter to me either. :)
Good Day!

It wouldn't be bad to have my children act like me... Actually two do and two don't. I've always been a very responsible and self disciplined person so yeah they could be like me.Mine are grown....Two really good ones and one who thinks being poor is a crime and one who thinks crime is a good thing...Well they all four are different in a lot of ways but were all raised in the same environment and with the same values.....Go figure............

Parents always want what's best for their children so no, I wouldn't want my children to be like me when they grow up. They should do much better than that. Their own choice, a good one, of course.

I think everyone wants a little person exactly like themselves but the reality is the kids are there own person. -- Which I think in the end the parent will value much much more.
I wish I was blessed with a child. But I have none and never will.

No way. That's one of the main reasons why I'm never having children (never want them, anyway).
I love children, though. I used to work with them.

You know I never thought like that and I have three that are grown already and two on their merry way. I want them to be as individualistic as they can be.

oh boy......in some ways yes....but in some, no way! i never finished college because i had my daughter. i would rather that they get a good education and a good job before they start a family, but all i can do is try to raise them the best i can and hope they turn out alright =)

For the most part yes. I was brought up with good Upbringing. I would only wish that they don't do some of the things that I did in my youth. Pretty crazy, and I'm lucky that I didn't kill myself.
