Should cost under $100 is you do it yourself

1. Remove the manifold.

2. Take the manifold to a machine shop & have it planed

3. Use some abrasive cloth & clean the head

4. Install a new gasket

5. Torque the bolts manufacture's specifications, starting in the middle & work to the outside

Ford is repairing many of these leaking exhaust manifolds if the mounting studs are broken. Yours may be too old to get fixed under extended warranty.
If the leak is caused by broken studs you can get a stainless steel kit from ford or ARP (american racing products). Get stainless steel headers if you are going to do the job.
If its a V10 the cost could exceed $3500 at the dealer.
