all u do is divide the top number by the bottom number!!

To convert fraction into decimal,
just divide the numerator (the number above) by the denominator (the number below)
Example
4/5 = .80
To convert decimal into fraction,
multiply the decimal by 100 = product/100
Example
.34 = .34 x 100 = 34/100

for example you want to 7/8 to a decimal divide 7 by 8 since 7 cannot be divided by 8, in the answer put a decimal point 7 to 70 & divide it by 8 now your quotient is 0.8 &after subracting 64 from 70 the remainder is 6 now make 6 , 60 ÷ 60 by 8 now your quotient is 0.87 from 60 subract 56 now remainder is 4 make 4 , 40 and divide it by 8 & the quotient is 0.875 thus 7/8 = 0.875 in decimal form

Let say you want to get 19/21 to a decimal. What you do is to divide 19 by 21 and you get .095. If you want to express it in a percentage, you multiply it by 100 and you get 95%.
