I am around 160cm tall, however my arm span is 170cm tall. Does that mean i will grow approx. as tall as my arm span??
Will this be affected by the amount i sleep and how i eat? Because i dont sleep very much; i sleep late and wake up early. Nd for the past term ive eaten like chocolate EVERYDAY!!! because of addiction and stress and itll b lyk a binge of chocolate like 5 peices of cabury 5 peices of another choc then 10 lollies then a tim tam then a piece of cake like all in 15 min... nd i dont stop even if im feeling sik. Although a lot of the time a skipped lyk lunch and dinner... i guess this is bad aye but i do eat salad and fruit and stuff.... i jst replace it wiv a lot of sweets sometimes. Although i must say after all that binging for months i only weigh 51.5 kgz which is around 2 kgs more than what i desire... ANYWAY this question isnt about weight its about height lol so will i grow to b my arm span??? What do u suggest i should do to encourage it if the thery is tru?

the first thing u should have mentioned is ur age...without that how can neone predict???

ne ways if u are under 14 assuming u are female u have chances of growing.
if u are under 12 then u can grow upto 170 cm but u have to sleep more, i inisit on this more that diet although thats equally important. but at this age ( below 12) sleep is prerequistie, when u sleep, growth hormone level increases and also gonadotropins every 45mins of sleep. both of these have effects on increase in stature.
sleep is very very important.
next 10cm increase is a big leap, u will have to swim more. cycling can also be effective but most people dont knwo how to increase their height by cycling....u need to adjust the seat so that when the pedal is down, ur leg is completely stretched..
if u are under 10 which i think is higly unlikely ( 10 and 160 cm!!!), u will grow beyond doubt just by regular sleep of 8hrs

At 16, you may have stopped growing already. Or you might have a year or two left, which might add 1 or 2 cm. At 160cm, you would not look that short, in any case. That's about 5ft 4in in the old scale, hardly a midget.
Most people in Australia (assuming this from mention of Cadbury's and Tim Tams) eat enough to grow to their potential, your diet would not be an issue. Diet will not make you taller. 51.5 kg and 160cm is within normal Body Mass Index. So you do not need to lose weight. see link below.
See a school counsellor for more personal advice, but you seem normal to me.

It's impossible to answer that without knowing how old you are.
Women's growth stops around 23/24 years old, I guess. Until that age, eat sensibly (avoid junk food) and exercise. Exercise that includes some stretching (like dance for example) can improve growth and keep well elongated and with a good posture - and that makes you look taller.
