And? What's wrong with that? Why shouldn't women comment on soccer? They are intelligent and we need a woman's point of view.

As long as they're all pretty, doesn't matter... wait, we can't see them, so it doesn't matter! only joking, I find it quite attractive having a convo about football with a girl, it is another common interest to add to our friendship.
It is a good change, it might just seem 'weird' to all at the moment as it is the tide changing, you'll get used to it.

Does it matter who does the commentating? As long as they know their stuff and they can give an unbiased comment, they are just as good as any.
