i don;t think multiple marriages are ok in any religion or race.
just my honest opinion

i think nobody should be allowed to multi marry whether hindu or muslim or any other caste.think of the tortures and anguishes sufferd by a woman to see her husband in arms of other women leally his wives?it would be harsh brutality towards women and sometimes with the children as well..

Just for your info.
A muslim man can marry more than 1 woman (compulsory to convert Islam) but cap to 4 wives ONLY, provided he is able to support and love as well as acts wisely to each of his wives. Else, he should not marry more than 1.

That custom was prevalent earlier but was stopped in the 1940 s or 50s. Better not to revive it now. Already we have too many problems.
