Is the Pontiac G6 Grill the same shape/size as 04+ style Grand Prixs?

I have a friend who wants the chrome "ring" that lines the outside of the grill on the G6 to put on her 2006 Grand Prix -- If it is the same size as the later Grand Prix models, I was wondering if those would fit ?

Each grill is slightly different shape size and will not interchange.
