That's a good question that the American public has failed to answer properly.
The reality is that no leader is stronger than what his followers allow him to be. It seems like nobody in the U.S. has seriously tried to empeach him.
He won two elections. The first election may have been a mistake, but then by the second election, people wouldn't have voted him in, yet they did.
So, what do we do now? Wait? Wait for the next presidential election? Why wait so long? And will the Americans vote in yet again just another Bush replacement? Will they vote in someone equally insane, such as McCain?
I think by the next election we will at least have a better understanding of the American public. Basically, 3 strikes and you're out. Bush voted in twice, now what?
If the Americans vote in yet another crazy, the world will have to unite against them, because we will know what the actual people want.
The American public has one last chance to show the world who they are. Are they a bunch of powerless goons who want a war-mongering idiot as president, or are they fed up with it all? The world is watching with steadfast eyes.

That may be the best question ever asked on here. Since even Bush knows he's and idiot I would have to say that 75% of the people who voted for him are bigger idiots. The other 25% who knew they would gain by GW being president like all the people in really big business and all the puppets at FOX news were just laughing all the way to the bank. Oh yeah, and whoever those people were whose palms were greased so the election could be stolen from the man actually voted in. Al Gore. They were laughing too. But I wonder if all those people laugh when they lay their heads down on their pillows at night knowing our service men are dying for their convenience??

He's not an idiot!!
Neither are the people that voted for him!!!
Think about it, have there ever been any presidents/prime ministers that everybody said was amazing and that never made any mistakes??? No! You may not like George Bush and sure he's made plenty of mistakes but that doesn't make him an idiot! Think about it, could you do any better??

OK,I respect your hatred for G.Bush but the people of the United States never bring an idiot person to the White House, and don't forget that Bush was supported by a percentage of 76 after 9/11 and I think he could have been far better than now if he kept Mr Cole beside him and took away Dick Cheney and Rams field

well agree or disagree, he is the President of the United States; is he and has he been out of touch with the people of the country he is suppose to serve, Yes, and as for the voters, you don't know everything until someone sits in the seat and then there are others that you know this one but you don't know the other one and so it is also the fear of the unknown; I vote in each and every election on all levels, you can't call names to people who exercised their freedom even if you don't approve of it; I hope that you vote always?? It is not just Bush ; you have Washington full of elected officials not doing their job or being self serving; did you vote for any of them; the fault is not the voter but the elected official who had the trust and good faith of its citizens; fault the right person

I would struggle to agree that he is an idiot. I find it very worrying that the American people should vote for him after the charismatic Bill Clinton.

No matter who is at the top, they are nothing more than the peoples puppets and a result will always be the result of a nations majority choices and are thanks to media are closely scrutinised and the slightest mistake blown out of proportion or in Bushes case mistakes now have a new word, I think his `Bush-ism` are what will, in time define him in the future rather than his/party policies.
I would like to see a TV program of all the world leaders and there public gaffs i wonder how long that TV programme would be
Anyone in the public eye can be made to look very stupid and thankfully we have TV to witness it. and document it for future generations to laugh out loud too.

I don't think it's a question of who is "idiot"or not. Those who have voted for him have obviously been convinced by his campaign. They are not to be blamed. It's now that we realise our mistake but that does not make those voters or him idiots.
Let's just say that Bush is a failure!!!!

The people who voted for him were horribly deceived, so I wouldn't call them idiots.
Bush, on the other hand, is one HUGE idiot.
