I was not trying to put the white man down but I once worked with someone who was soooo sorry everytime when payday came aroud he was always saying "they messed up my paycheck" yeah right he was always asking money from me or one of our co-workers I am a Security Officer now when he left his job and did not know what he was going to do I suggested he try to get a job as a ecurity officer he just laugh in my face and said sh----- then he ask me for money I told him where he could go now who is the mean one?

Doesn't sound like anyone was being mean. It sounds like you were trying to offer him a more promising way to make money and he turned it down.
Then, you put him in his place and I feel he had it coming. Good for you! When a man can work but would rather take from someone else instead, he is a deadbeat period!

I don't think either one of you is mean. I think your co-worker was a jerk, though. If he was hurting for money all the time, and always borrowing money from people, you would think that he would jump at the idea of a steady job !
You weren't mean at all. He was an idiot for laughing at you !
