Yes, I think couples should have separate bank accounts. If they are engaged or married, they may have a joint checking account, but I think its still a good idea to have some money that each person can spend the way they want.

no one wants to admit that relationships end. but the fact is that people break up. even 50% of marriages end in divorce. i think it is extremely wise to keep separate accounts until you are married. after that, however, it is a different story.

Untill your married deffinatley because You never know what could happen in the meantime. But if your married then yes I don't see why not, I mean it is OURS not MINE anymore
