In undergrad school, I made it a point to never work later than 9pm on anything. Past that point, the quailty of my work would suffer. I was much more likely to pull an all-dayer than all-nighter. This usually involved tucking myself away in the library with a not-too-messy packed lunch, skipping my classes and plugging away till the evening.

It was over 24 hrs. I did great on the exam, but I wouldn't recommend to anyone doing it that way.

2 days and 2 nights. I'll never do that again. Somehow, I survived the ordeal and the assignment.
