I have tried to find where to rate the answer/s. However, Am I allowed to do that or is just the questioner allowed to do that? There are a lot of good answers out there and i want to try to give them some credit for being credit if its really worth it. Also, I see on questions that are asked, some answers are correct and its not what the questioner wants to hear, so they give it a thumbs down. Like noticeable questions. For example: "can it harm a baby if you smoke pot while pregnant" The thumbs up ends up going to the answers that say no, the baby should be fine and thumbs down to any yes or there may be a possibility something may be wrong. Does anyone else notice this?

Get 250 pts. and you'll be on level 2. Then you can "rate" answers with "thumbs up" and "thumbs down." Just click on the “thumbs up” icon to give someone a “thumbs up” and same with “thumbs down,” click on the icon to award one. It doesn’t cost you any points to “rate” an answer.

Answer a question and get 2 pts. Ask a question and lose 5 pts. Choose the "best answer" to your question and get 3 of those 5 pts. back.

Be chosen as "best answer" and get 10 pts. plus 1 bonus pt. for each "thumbs up" your answer received. There’s no deduction for “thumbs down.”

Vote for "best answer" on unresolved questions where the asker was too lazy to choose "best answer" and you get 1 pt. per question. You also get 1 pt. every day for just logging in. It’s as easy as that!

Good luck, you'll be on level 2 in no time and then aim for level 3 (1,000 to 2,499 pts.)

anyone that's at level 2 or above can give a thumbs up or thumbs down for any answer as long as they are signed in. see? i just gave the first guy a thumbs down. (sorry)

once you've earned enough points you'll move to level 2. i got there quickly by voting on unresolved questions. i would find one, vote, then click on 'show me another.'

Anyone can vote thumbs up or down according to what they like. You are limited by your status or point accumulation. I thumbs down really stupid answers and thumbs up the best answer. . .in my opinion. . .
