Because blacks have not had enough time to evolve. Hey hey hey, slow down sailor, don't blame them because it isn't their fault given the FACT that most {70%} of them can't think for themselves. You have to learn how to pee before you can walk. But if you want to be a big boy/girl and try to be equal
them you are applaud. Isn't it funny thAT THEY WANT TO BE EQUAL, BUT THEY STILL WANT SPECIAL EDUCATION
TREATMENT , ALONG WITH MANY OTHER SPECIAL TREATMENTS THAT SHUT OUT US WHITES lol. If you act like a baby, then you bet your bottom dollar I will treat you like one.
p.s. Man, very good question buddy. I admire meeting people who analize this kind of foolishness by the Democrates like myself.

Because there are more issues than abortion and gay rights.

People who vote on one issue or along party lines are the antithesis of what the founders had in mind for this country.

As an example, I'm in Florida. I think the right to an abortion should not be comprised in any way but, there are many other issues that challenge my state today. I felt Charlie Crist, the extremely anti-abortion Republican would be best for the state, so I voted for him.

but the worst part of this scene is that the above mentioned groups in your question don't bother to vote. The demographics show that most of the country would not vote for Bush in either 2002 and 2004 so the elections came down with only 1/3 of the eligible people voting in the presidential election.
If you don't Even both to go the polls then you should not complain because the Republican candidate (Bush) got elected...

Republicans and conservatives have a much higher voter turn out..Democrats will not bother to exercise their right to the ballot..
I did not vote for Bush in these elections but I support him as long as he is in office..
If you don't bother to vote..then don't complain....is to me is gross ignorance

Actually many Blacks and Hispanics who call themselves "Born Again Christians" voted Republican, in the last two Presidential Elections; reasons being: Gay Marriage and Abortions.

However; the real hypocrisy and or ignorance are Gay and Lesbian; who belong to the Log Cabin Party (Republicans); who support them despite their dismissal of their lifestyle; and the entire Foley-Gate, Midterm Election fiasco. It was intriguing to say the least to find out that many of the Support Staff, including Chief of Staff Members were gay.

After almost 40 years of talking about abortion, it should be clear that it is going to remain legal for the foreseeable future, but tax policy, immigration, trade policy, war, health care etc effect your life everyday. The real puzzle is not why they do not vote on the abortion issue but why anybody does.

First of all, you have no idea what you are even talking about. I am defiantly not anti-gay. I live in the San Francisco bay area, where every 3rd person is gay (not really, I am just exaggerating) I support abortion to those who are victims of rape, molestation, and if the mother or baby is at risk. My point is, that your statement is wrong. But, I can't speak for all black people, just myself. You should really learn not to generalize. :)

Well, sure, Foley is not gay, he was a happily married republican. Just like all of that scum. What does pro-life and anti-gay have to do with not voting for the KKK's own party of choice - republicans? Come on, republicans, now chant your mantra about democrats forming KKK... many years ago. Then remember Dumbya's mother in New Orleans after Katrina.

because of the fact they are no longer one situation voters. in spite of everything, Democrats are no longer professional-abortion, and a very good kind of Democrats oppose abortion for deepest or religious motives (Bob Casey, for one) Many Republicans are additionally professional-selection (Tom Ridge) whether their party isn't. The saddest area effect of the frenzy Limbaugh/Anne Coulter era of listeners is they are no longer able to think of critically, and see the whole photograph. human beings and subjects are categorized, stamped "it incredibly is a thank you to think of" and stacked away. i think of somewhat, that Obama is a president who can artwork in direction of a compromise on abortion subjects. which will in no way ensue if Catholics are refusing to work out something however the precise 2d whilst sperm meets egg as defining "humanness." The morning after tablet, no remember if it incredibly is made extensively obtainable, will probably decrease the kind of abortions dramatically. yet Catholics proceed to combat against even that.

Personally I think they believe that the dems will help them better their lives. However, dems typically mean higher taxes and that doesn't help anybody (except congress since they can just spend more of OUR money).

Some southern dems have always vote for the dems and they say they will always vote that way (e.g., Zell Miller's book mentions this).

Because today's Republican Party is the same party the KKK and neo-nazis vote for. Why would they want to be on the same side as them? It was liberal organizations and liberals from both parties who gave them equal rights. The northeastern liberal Republicans who voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act have been moving to the Democratic Party ever since.
