108+96 ------ 204

108g of Al produces =204g of Al2O3

10g of Al will produce =204x10/108

= 18.89g of Al2O3

1. work out the moles of Al
2. work out the moles of O2
3. select which is smaller
4. if it's 1, divide by 2 and multiply by the Mr of Al2O3
5. if it's 2, multiply by 2/3 and multiply by the Mr of Al2O3.
