GSW has played the league's toughest strength of schedule over the 18-6 run since Davis returned from injury with their "new" roster (including the trade).

People want it to be a fluke so they can stop worrying. Like me, as a Suns fan, I'm hoping GS doesn't start thinking they can win the championship. They start truly believing that and more than just the Mavs have reason to worry.

Its nice you point that out. Everyone keeps looking at rankings dallas #1 and GS #8. There is always a story behind it. Maybe GS had a whole bunch of injuries, slow start, and then in their case some trades. I believe they were 20-3 after the trades they made.

Anyone that can't see that this is simply a great team that took a while to get good is dilusional. They are very underrated because of their ranking. Its just nice that they're showing up when it really matters.

It's not a fluke. The mid season trade, injuries to Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, and Monta Ellis. Nellie getting players to buy into his style of play, players getting in shape to be able to play that style, players getting used to playing with each other, lots of close losses that nobody talks about, and getting his rotation down, that's the transition the Warriors went through in one season. All that would take most teams at least 3 seasons to adjust to.

When all of the above came together you saw the real Warriors.
