Why post an question , then demand that no one answer with their opinion, unless it is something you want to hear or side with you. As for as Obama.
Let us get a few things straight so that this inexperienced twit can see the light. It IS NOT the will of the American people to lose a war. It is the will of the Democratic Party to lose the war because they are a bunch of spineless cowards who refuse to fight for our interests (only for their own). The will of the American people is to win the war and bring our troops home. If we cut and run now we will invite tragedy in Iraq and we will invite the enemy to come here because they will know we have no spine. I only hope that if we surrender the first attack on America takes out every idiot who voted for this bill
Then and maybe then the message will hit home that we are at war and making nice will not appease the enemy or make them leave us alone.
Let us look at another little thing that Obama said. He was against the war from the start. He has no say in the matter. He was not in the Congress when the vote was taken but I imagine if he had been new to the Senate he might have gone along with nearly everyone in his party and voted to use force. I can not say for sure but neither can he. He is using the fact that he was not in office to make a claim as if he were. That is a bunch of crap and is designed to make people think something that might or might not be true. Obama is a lunkhead who panders. He is only as far along and a “bright star” because he is black. If he were a white guy he would be on the bottom of the pile. People are obsessed with his color and not his lack of experience or ability.
Every Democrat in the Senate and two Republicans voted to surrender. Make no mistake about it, this bill is designed to end the war in defeat. Obama and the rest of the idiots in the Senate will do anything including undermine the security of this country in order to make George Bush look bad and to win seats in the next election.
If these people allow us to surrender and we are attacked again and people die I would urge all armed citizens to fight our enemy here and once we have killed the invading enemy we should go after the enemy that is within. That enemy is in the Congress and if they bring the war to America they should be treated as the enemy. I am tired of a bunch of idiots in the Congress making rules that screw up the country and then paying no price for their ineptitude.
If we cut and run and are attacked we will hold you all accountable.
As an aside, the Democrats know this is a bad plan. That is why all their timetables call for complete withdrawals later into next year. They know that all our troops will not be out by then and they know that all hell will not break loose until after they win the election by claiming to end the war. They are traitors
As a matter of clarity, I do not condone harm to any member of Congress or any other elected official. These are my feelings about their performance and the punishment for treason.

If someone is running for president who was the most qualified, it shouldn't matter what color or sex or religion they are. It's pretty irresponsible to vote for someone just because of that. People need to take the time and look at all the issues and and then make an intelligent, informed choice. It is sad to think that people will vote for Obama just because he is black, or Hillary just because she is a woman, but I have a feeling that those will be the deciding factors for a lot of people.

He can be a real good president since he doesn't have vicious enemies. People like Hilary have experience(some), but people like her have so much strong opposition that she won't be able to unite the country well as Obama can. Lot of strong candidates can be dividing, polarizing as Bush was. Obama looks to be one who can unite the country and gain repect of other countries in the world. Unless some other democrat convince us otherwise everybody should be voting Obama.
Imagine what it'll be like if Hillary, McCain, or Giuliani get elected. It'll be same old vicious party line politics all over again. I think Obama can actually bring people together.

I will definitely vote for Obama if he gets the nomination; I'm not 100% sure who I'll vote for in the primaries.
I'm not going for him just because he's black. Being the first black President is just an interesting historic bonus. He's a Democrat, and I like his policies. That's why I'd vote for him.

If he's nominated at the convention, he'll definitely get my vote. No matter what his ethnicity. I'll vote for him because he's a Democrat. But my only misgiving is his very junior status in Federal politics. It just seems way too soon for him to go all the way to the top. And ahead of so many other very worthy candidates who have served their time in office well beyond his.

Well I am not a racist but a realist. Why should America want a black president throughout history blacks are known to destroy govts. look at Papa Doc Idi Amin Mugabbe can you name me one successful black president in history. I know you will say Mandella when the truth is everyone suffered under Mandella and the blacks all said they were better off under white rule. Look at Africa as a whole even the countries that are considered successful in the eyes of Africans would be a total failure by our standards so I know you are going to rant and rave about what a racist statement when all i am doing is giving you a dose of reality.

First of all, Obama is not black..........he is bi-racial.
Moreover, being a conservative, I could not care less what the color of a candidate's skin is. Unlike hypocritical liberals, real conservatives are not hung up on skin color. Call me crazy, but I have always agreed with Martin Luther King Jr's. view that we should judge people by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. I was raised that way by my conservative christian parents. Therefore, since Obama is a liberal advocating policies that are bad for our country, I would NOT vote for him.
So, I say......HECK NO.....on Obama for president!!!

I don't think that the position of President should be restricted by race, but in the same breath I think it is a terrible mistake to embrace a candidate mearly because of their skin color. Doesn't that empower the very sentiment that you are trying to fight against? Rather than focusing on the fact that he is black, why not at least mention some of his stances you support. Or is your support based soley on his skin color... the same idea that you are upset about?

Sure, Condi Rice or Alan Keyes. Do you actually base your vote of skin color. There are many blacks more qualified than Barack. If he should win, he will set blacks back 50 years.
