Red, yellow, and white.
For orange, use yellow first, then add small amounts of red until you get the orange you want.
For peach, which is a pinky-orange, use less of each color to start, but start with a soft pink shade, then add the yellow until you are happy with it. If you are using the paste form of food coloring, use very small amounts. It is quite concentrated. The liquid form is not as concentrated, but start with one drop at a time until you can tell how much stronger the drops will turn out. Have fun! Can I have a bite?

If you start with a white cake batter, you will add in yellow and red food coloring to make the batter orange or peach. The peach tint will take less yellow than the orange tint. If you start with a yellow cake batter, you will need less yellow coloring. if you don't have food coloring, which is available at the grocers, you can use a little Jello or other gelatin mix of the right color, but you must be careful not to add too much or you will disturb the moisture balance of the cake. Another source is to mix red plumb skins into the wet ingredients until they impart their color, and then remove them before baking. As a last resort, cupcake sprinkles also contain a dye which will bleed into and color your wet ingredients when you add them. Whatever you add for coloring, make sure beforehand that it is safe to eat!
