I support stem cell research. Unfortunately, the majority of my coworkers mistakenly believe that stem cell research encourages abortion. So they oppose it. I tried to enlighten them to the facts of stem cell research, but they were not willing to listen.

I had to stand up to a supervisor who was blatantly lying about some financial information that could have got a lot of people in trouble.
I was scared to death about "rocking the boat"; I really needed the job! But my principles wouldn't allow me to turn a blind eye to something so serious. Thankfully, it went well and the issue was resolved in a positive manner. I know that's not always the case for people who make the kind of choice I did.

That my boss is an idiot and couldn't do his job correctly(Sample prep at Hazen Research Inc. Golden, CO my boss was Terry Roberts). Most everyone agreed with me and egged me on to continue the good work that I was doing, but he won in the end and they fired me. Pissed a lot of people off. Now Sample Prep is back to being an unsafe work enviroment with no management to speak of, all the blame goes on those that are underneath Terry(oh yeah I forgot to mention he is a meth head, spread the word)

Refused to close child abuse cases and put people on the Central Registry until the work was correct by the assessment workers! Some had to be reinvestigated!

Try being anti-war at a defense contractor.
