We deceive ourselves - so it's our own fault for electing these idiots. Ever watch Canadian debates - they actually talk about the issues in depth. They don't treat the audience like - well an audience. Unfortunately but in my experience, the first department head at my job was fired and the entire department thought he was a tyrant. The second boss to resign, everybody apparently loved but unfortunately he was later arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant, charged with felonies and now is a convicted felon. So you are correct, just when you think the bad movie ended and the bad guy died - uh uh. Now its only worse. Yep the next batch will probably try to grab more power but they'll make us like them cause they'll appear to be so clean cut and likeable. So much to look forward to.

Have you noticed the voting % in elections:
National: 60%
State: 40%
Locals: 10-20%

You must take time to research your candidates and vote.
Democracy is great if you vote...but then that would require W-O-R-K!!

Have you ever noticed that even though politicians talk about getting more people registered that there is never a national campaign to get people registered? Yet people stay in power over 20years...now that will make you think!

p.s.: Iraq national elections 90+% turned out and they took the risk of being killed...now that's sad!

I have also noticed that, a sad sad thing to see. I think it is because they are all money grubbing POS's(Repubs and Dems alike). If they got their heads out of the money bags we might see some good ones come about, but that is what politics are these days a chance for some quick cash. I think it is a disgrace to this country and our history, public service should not be a get rich and stay that way strategy. It should be a duty where you suffer with the rest of us, then you get out and prosper in a civilian job just like the military. Not any more though, you serve one term and you are set for life with that disgraceful pension plan they voted themselves into, they never have to worry for the rest of their lives and we have to suffer the consequences

i'm already mad, frustraited and experience lost as to what to do to make a distinction. balloting won't help, it incredibly is rigged. Accounting for our funds.....that's a huge humorous tale. I filed my taxes for the year beforehand of the 'conflict'. I have been given my return and caught it interior the financial business enterprise, automobile broke down, spent maximum of it, then 6 months later i'm getting a letter from the IRS asserting that I might desire to pay returned the refund plus the activity it accrued interior the 6 months that I had NO thought that they needed MY funds returned. (ideas you I stay at poverty point, pay examine to paycheck) i understand they did it to make funds off the persons to fund the conflict. A$$HOLES!!!!! i'm questioning myself what it would take to wake human beings up, we would desire to act at the same time and the beforehand the extra perfect, the bigger the extra perfect. definite, a march on DC armed to the teeth, boy does no longer that be superb, yet with the Patriot Act in place, we would all be located into the domstic concentration camps that have been equipped for us. US, definite us, no longer them.....I say we positioned them into those centers so as that something persons can pass on residing. I too opt to interrupt stuff. what is going to truly make issues ensue is the persons who're indignant and characteristic funds might desire to hire a %.

Don’t blame the “representatives” blame those who allow them to be elected and reelected over and over again and again!

Everything in life is supposed to have its limits except voters’ stupidity which is immeasurable!

Can you imagine if stupidity was taxed? There would be no deficit ever; regardless how much the politicians would spend and/or pocket!

The present crop of government representatives are worst because they are corrupt and not sincere in serving the people. They are just there for the money.

People are always saying that all we have to do to solve corruption is to get out and vote. If everyone we vote for is corrupt, how exactly does voting help?
