It was a tight playoff race between GS, Clippers, and Hornets, Mavericks rested their starters on Golden State during an extremely close playoff race for the 8th seed, while teams like Suns started their starters the whole way through. To me it just goes to show that what goes around comes around. I know ppl are going to say that they couldn't have the risk of injuring someone, but Mavericks just screwed themselves over, and I think they deserve it.

Tiny trust me I know Warriors deserve this 8th spot more then Clippers, I was hoping that Clippers and Warriors would be in the playoffs and Lakers would be kicked out. I'm just saying how uncharacteristic it is to rest players during an important game, and I hope Mavs lose cuz they deserve it.

You again? this is TINY.

I mean it was a risk that they took a chance on. Both teams were very confident in the beginning, but one team has to want it more and in this case, Warriors are hungry.

Imagine if Avery did start his starters and they still lost in the final meeting. That would've been a huge psychological blow heading into the playoffs, especially since it is against your first round opponent. I think Avery was potentially trying to spare them from that; that if the Warriors beat the reserves, they could shrug it off and say "Oh, Warriors just beat the second string." Additionally, I think Avery was hoping the Lakers would lose that last two games, so that the Warriors would bump up to the 7 seed.

He wanted to substantiate they were healthful and nicely rested come playoff time. It hasn't made a lot distinction thinking Nowitzki is playing like he might want to come off the bench. Dallas hasn't shown up contained in the playoffs and also you may want to't blame Avery. He won't be able to lead them to play with playoff intensity. Yea in the experience that they could of beat the infantrymen on da very last evening of the season, they could have gave the Clippers a probability to get the eighth seed really of attending to play a team that has ruled them so thoroughly.

That was a very questionable decision made by Avery Johnson, especially considering how they weren't in sync towards the end of the season. I really thought Avery was more of an old school style coach and would play his starters all the way towards the end of the season instead of resting them.

He is going to catch a lot of heat from that, and learn a lesson the hard way.

If they lose the series their cry baby fans are probably going to ponder over this thought.

Its funny to think the team that they helped get into the playoffs is the same team that could possibly knock them out (even though it was for good reason).

Prediction: jackass Mark Cuban fires Avery Johnson tomorrow, and takes over the coaching duties HIMSELF, like you know he wants to...

and then loses the next two games in blowouts, goes home, gets another bad bowl-cut, and cries.
