And will you be doing any camping this summer? What is your favourite activity to do there?

I went camping last summer with my family. I've been camping before, but only as a school trip so this was a lot more fun with my relatives.

I loved swimming in the lake (although I don't know how to swim, I was just in there pretending like I knew what I was doing with a life jacket, when clearly I had no idea! LOL) But being in a lake is indescribeable when compare to being in a pool. There's some natural and more beautiful about it. I also loved just sitting by the lake and watching the sun go down, and just enjoying the beauty.

The first time I went camping, I was three months old. For many years, I took my children camping. We camped in tents, under a tarp, on the beach, in the mountains, and in a camper trailer. I'm retired now and I have a small RV to camp in. I'm going at every opportunity this summer! I have 8 grandchildren and a great-grand baby that I want to have camp with me at various times this summer.

I'm in Oregon where half the state is made up of National Forests or state parks, so it's great for variety of places to camp. We'll probably go to the national forest and camp along a creek up in the mountains. I also want to go to camp over at the beach. There are beautiful camp grounds in the Douglas firs which are a short walk to the ocean. It's only about $20 a night for full hookups for the RV. It's about $12 for a site without hook ups or tent camping. I'm not getting any younger, so I want to get as much mileage out of this summer as I can. I want the grand-kids to remember camping with their granny. :-)

Ok look. You're talking to the world here and asking if people like camping. Many people probably don't. In Germany, camping is like 5 star luxury hotel camping with lawn ornaments all inclusive. Frankly, camping sucks. What do you do? Pack up all your house. Move it into nature. Unpack your house in nature. Disturb nature. Start fires like cavemen. Sleep in a cloth bag in a cloth, bug-infested enclosure called a tent on the hard ground. There's no shower. There's no toilet so not only is there synthetic waste all over from campers, there is also human refuse all over the place. Then after all that, you just pack up your house again. Then go home and unpack the house. Realize oh I stink like campfire and so does everything else and so go on a barrage of wash cloths and detergents which further pollute the world.

I love camping and go frequently. I have plans to go camping in Zion National Park in Utah and also in the red rock desert of southeast Utah (4 corners area). I go at least 4-5 times a year. The beauty of nature is awesome and I thank the Lord for providing such a beautiful earth for us to dwell on.

We want to go camping sometime this summer in Letchworth Park. My husband and I like sleeping in tents but we have a 20 month old and my friend went camping there last year and said there's bears. She had rented a cabin with her family and they saw a bear one day. Her sisters fiance almost s hit himself and went running into the cabin leaving his girlfriend and their 8 month old out there. Once they were all inside my friends son was looking out the window and was like "Oh Mommy. Look at the bear! Isn't he cute? Can we go outside and pet him?" She said "No no. He's cute from inside" The bear came right up on the porch and then finally went away. So if we do go camping, we're getting a cabin!

If you consider camping in a really nice resort set in the woods, with a heated pool and a maid who replaces my towels.

I actual love to be in the water - I will stay in the water all day. But that wars with my love to read - I love to sit in the boat floating in the lake reading.

i love camping... but a specific type of camping, the type where u park ur car where u camp (not the hiking with backpacks) I used to go with my family every summer since i was an infant, and now go with my boyfriend.. now im just trying to get my firends to go but they may freak when they see bugs around (which will make me laugh hysterically!) but mostly i just love swimming, and being outdoors.. ohhh and i LOVE camp fires!! they are my absolute fav, the whole process of looking for wood and finding sticks for marshmallows... Great fun!

I like camping, don't do it that much though. I hope to this summer. Yeah it's a lot better being at a hotel with a pool. The only downsides are mosquitos, snakes, gulp....bears...
