Hey!

Ugh, I had the same problem this week, so I feel for you. :)
I used www.zamzar.com, (its free, fast, and easy. plus, there's no nasty downloading and spyware junk.)

Then I downloaded the Mpeg copy and uploaded it to Windows Movie Maker. Although, it somewhat scrambled the graphics a TINY TINY bit. But no harm done. :)

If this isn't what you were asking, I'm sorry. But if you want more info, you can find the topic where I asked a similar question:

Good luck!

If you want to put video on you tube then you should think about the size of the video which you tube accept. Therefore the great graphic problem is solved, or if you still want to do that, it depends on video, lighting's, clearity etc. Then use Video software to edit brightness etc.

Background song or audio. If you want to use Windows movie maker, first import the video by using the tabs available in the movie maker to import video.
If you have video thumb drag that below I am sure you can see time line etc. When your video will be there, you could also see that in the left window of Move Maker Player.
Now, this time import any audio which you want and again from thumb drag and drop under the video frames.
What if your video is of longer duration and audio is shorter? put cursor at the end of a audio then drag to the end of the video.

I know just telling you by text will not be enough therefore giving you link below from where you could learn much better and in easier way.

I am hopeful that will help you.
