If your friends are really good friends, tell them to stop making fun of you and they will listen if they value you. As for everyone else, you just have to ignore it. It's very hard but it doesn't matter. You don't have to see any of them ever again once your out of that school. In the meantime, you can probably find a much friendlier atmosphere outside of school if you did something like join a youth group or take some kind of activity class in a surrounding town/city/village. There you can spend time meeting new people.

I'm sorry you are in this situation. I know what it's like. Here's the thing. You really can't do anything about strangers except ignore their stupidity.
I too had friends that made fun of me and it bothered me a lot. When I told them how much, they said I was being too serious, they didn't mean anything about it. They went right along and their jibes still stung.
That was years ago and they are no longer my friends. The friends I have now do not treat me this way.
Looking back on those old "friends" I've come to realize a few things.
When I would return some "funny" remarks about them, they didn't like it at all. Guess they were too serious.
True friends support you, and you should feel good while you're around them.
There are times we might say something that bothers someone. It could be inadvertent, through ignorance or anger. If you tell a true friend they have hurt you; they will stop, and if necessary apologize. Not tell you it's your fault for being too sensitive and then continue as if they're never wrong.
So maybe you should examine how valuable these people are to you. Can you see them in you're life in the future as friends or "friends".

Ask them why? If they're really your friends, they will stop! Teasing hurts people sometimes and it is best to say hey, why did you say that? I got made fun of alot myself, I know how you must feel, I hope it comes to a stop! But if not? Know this, you are worth something!!!!! That is a fact! Your true friends will tell you this! Lean on them and let them lean on you! Just be the best you that you can be! People i'm sure will see your goodness in that! Hope it helps! I mean that!

First of all your so called friends that make fun of you are NOT your friends!! When anyone makes fun of somebody that means they have nothing better else to do with there lives then to pick on others. If this happens again laugh with them, they won't know what to do then and just continue with what you were doing one day they will realize how childish they really are!! Don't let them get to you just smile and go with the flow because inside you know you are the better person.

I am a Freshman in highschool and I found out that by being yourself, with a spice of an outgoing goofy attitude brings you a looooonnnnnggggg way. I feel so comfortable now and have so many upperclassmen friends like juniors and seinors. Once you find your friends, being childish and funny around them brings you closer together and lets you be who you really are. Also talk to your friends...ask them why they make fun of you and what YOU can do to make it better...honestly, it is not always other peoples fault...sometimes it is yours!

Why do they make fun of you that would help ! I got made fun of a lot when I was young but when i became an adult people stopped . I think it is because they don't want you to kill them . Seriously though I know it's hard but believe me you will be better when you are older !

do not tell anyone my suggestion. buy yourself a small voice recording gadget and do record their comments and voices including those made on the phone. after you do that for a few days -- then write them an official letter giving the facts
and tell them in no uncertain words that if they do not stop, you will take further action. i am sure they will stop. trust me and thank me later.

sounds too simple, but TELL them! Sometimes people are so thick to see they are really hurting yoiur feelings, they get cought up "in the moment". Just say to your friends, please don't do or say that, it really hurts my feelings and it is bad enough with other kids, but you are my friend
