I mean, seriously - he's already a good-looking guy, and has a thick, full head of hair. And he's a GUY, for Gawd's sake! Maybe Hillary spending 400 bucks on a dye job or something would make sense...but not Edwards getting a trim. Let's face it - the guy is just plain VAIN!!!

He was illegally charging the haircuts to his campaign funds until he got caught. Only way anyone including Edwards would need a $400.00 haircut is if they are a gorilla or really paying $8.00 and getting a tax write off of $400.00.

Because he is wealthy and a snob who is used to paying that much for a haircut. I can't seriously see him lowering himself to go to some $10.00 barber shop.
And whoever said he could be giving $390 of that to cancer research is so right.
I wonder what Al Gore spends on haircuts, or if Tipper cuts his hair.

John Edwards need to have a positive image in order to entice supporters so that he could nominated as the Democrat standard bearer for the Presidential election.

Well,if it is his money(and he did make it right) and he can afford it it is his business.I would like to have one myself to see the difference.I agree he is vain but he is a good looking man.
