isolate the x term by subtracting 3y from both sides
2x +3y -3y=6 - 3y
2x = 6 - 3y get rid of y by making y = 0
2x = 6
x = 3

Were just learning aout this out school...

2x-3y-3y=6-3y subtact to get 2y alone. wat u do 2 1 side u do da other

2x/2=6/2-3/2y divide to get the y alone.

x=3-3(over)2y now rearrange your equation and get...

x=-3(over)2y+3 the number that is alone is your x intercept.

x intercept=+3
