If this is your first time using any type of birth control pill, it may take a full 3 months of pills before your body fully adapts to the medication. You may experience spotting off/on for the whole 3 months. It is very important that you take the pill at the same time daily. Most birth control pill now have such a lower dose of hormones that just being a few hours late taking your pill may cause irregular spotting and bleeding. Don't forget to use a back-up method for the first month of taking a new birth control pill. It's annoying, but spotting is normal. If you ever start to have heavy bleeding= saturating more than on tampon or pad per hour then you need to go to the nearest ER. In the mean time make sure you are getting enough fluids, rest, and take a multi-vit w/iron to help w/fatigue. Even taking a children's' chewable is better than no vitamin.

Hi chances are your body is just taking its time getting used to the new schedule.

I would just relax & ignore it if I were you. My first mon on the pill 3-4 yrs ago, I lasted a month.
