my mom left the car window open an it rained. my dad called her a ***** in front of all his friends, shud i tell him to stop talking like that to her? it hurts her feelings, but she sed it wus her fault for being stupid. i told her she shud steck up for herself, but she says he just says sorry an does it again next time.

Sounds like your parents may have problems beyond just the obvious which has nothing to do with you. You can try to talk with your dad and let him know it hurts you to see him hurt your mother. Yes, your mom should stick up for herself but don't take it too much to heart because like I said, you are not to blame and may not be able to change this. Good luck.

If he's someone who get's that mad over an open window, then that's not good, yeah you should tell him to stop. Though, it sounds like he has a short fuse, so be careful. Your mom should also start sticking up for herself, yeah she was stupid for it, but that's no reason to call her a ***** in public.

Obviously your father does not respect his wife,your mother very much. This goes to show how shallow of a man he is and doesn't know what the word respect means.He must look really stupid when he does this in front of his friends unless they are all assholes like he is.Tell your mother that she is not stupid and humans are allowed to make mistakes. In the meantime pray for your sick father.

If she will not stand up for herself then maybe you need to. Maybe you need to talk to him and let him know how it makes her feel and how it makes you feel to hear him call your mom names like that and treat her like that especially in front of people. Be there for your mom and do the right thing for her, she don't deserve that and neither do you, he needs his *** kicked for doing that.

Your mom is in a verbally abusive relationship and could lead to worse things, it`s very sad that he feels he has to humiliate her infront of his friends to feel like a man. you need to talk to someone you trust like maybe an aunt or oncle or grandparents...other than that, i don`t know.

it is sad the way some people treat other people!your mother knows your father loves her,and just puts up with it[i think he does love her]some people just put up with things from people they love!but it still isn't right!
