Oh my god..close that account now..I know two people who were power of attorneys for elderly people...wouldn't let them have their money..and one who's home loan changed to another company and didn't inform them..they continued to pay Washington Mutual..unaware of the change and they lost their house. You have to go to Washington to fight them..don't put your money in that bank..especially cash!

I can tell you it's your personal experience I've the $4000 in cash through an American ATM. I've never had a problem with it. As a banker, I can tell you that in the morning to bank officers and sure the bank ATM vault to examine the money. Here is my only advice. If you deposit more than 30 bills in cash, split the deposit between two envelopes to avoid any Anglo wreckage. Most AC hands are designed to exact 30 bills only. Anything more than that risks writing the end low and selling the bills onto the ATM vault floor.

Yes you can. The envelopes for deposit through the ATM have an area to put cash and an area for check amount. So say you have $100 in cash to deposit next to cash you would write $100.00.

My ATM has deposit with cash back option. I would never deposit cash in a night drop or an ATM. Only in front f a cashier, face to face to watch it being counted and a receipt given.

NEVER deposit cash in an ATM, you don't know who is unloading the machine and may put your cash in his pocket. You can't prove that you deposited the money.

Always deposit as a Money Order or Check, that way you have a record, keep the carbon copy for your file.

It is safe. Many banks always have 2 employees handling ATM deposits. Just make sure that the envelope is not too bulky.

You certain can. And as some have said it is safe as long as you don't get mugged trying to put it in. Once in the bank is not going to let someone just pocket your money, there will more then one person there and it will be checked.
