You can install Windows on a Mac. Get a Mac for this benefit. Visit http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore to get your laptop today.

You have a great day.

Hi .:.Betsy.:.,

Then you need to get a MacBook or MacBook Pro, then Betsy. You can download Boot Camp from the Apple web site. Boot Camp will allow you to install Microsoft Windows. Boot Camp lets you boot in either Mac OS X or Windows. Windows works on the MacBook like it's a vanilla PC so you can play Windows games or applications that they don't have for the Macintosh.

You can also buy a copy of Parallel which allows you to have both Windows and Mac OS X together at the same time, on the same screen.

Personally, I think that the Mac's web browser, Safari is far superior to Internet Explorer, but different strokes for different folks. There is Office and other Microsoft programs for the Mac that works directly with the Mac OS X, and they'll work great on the Macintosh. Check them out here on Microsoft's Mactopia web site:

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/

But there are plenty of Macintosh programs that work so much better. You should go to your local Macintosh dealer and check out a Macintosh for yourself. Try out the programs and enjoy.

Oh, before I forget; there's supposedly a Macintosh emulator for Windows PCs. I've read up on this and the emulation is for an ancient version of the Mac OS. Don't even bother with this.

yes you can buy the mac laptop, and run mac OS/X and MS Widows but not at the same time. you have to boot into one use it, then reboot to use the other system,

or you could get a laptop and run, linux and windows on a virtual system, or you could do a dual boot system, Linux, and MS windows there are many options out there
