There is definitely something to be said about a good horror movie. I think the one that scares me the most is the original Poltergeist. I will never look at clowns dolls, trees or tvs, the same way again! *shudder*
I was also disturbed by parts of the Excorcist, The Ring, the remake of Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later and Silence of the Lambs.
If you're looking for a movie, try one called "The Ugly", it's out of Australia or New Zealand. It's pretty disturbing (my only complaint is the director's decision to use black blood).

Me! I love horror movies; I've got a massive collection. My very favorites would have to be Hellraisers 1 & 2, The Haunting (1963) and the somewhat obscure 'Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things' (1972) :)

I've got to say, Halloween 2 with Jamie Lee Curtis, where she's already met up with Michael Meyers and is now in the hospital trying to recover from some of her injuries and he finds her there. My favorite scene is where she has been hobbling along for quite some time trying to make sure he's not around and looking for other people that night. When she finally sees him, she changes from limping along to running full speed, although I probably would too, if Michael were after me! :)

Horror flicks are the best. I loved the shining (not the stephen king version tho!) The final destinations weren't bad. I guess it depends are you talking bloody ones or just "scary" ones. Bloody you wanna see the saw movies and what not. Thirteen ghosts was scary (I was kinda young when i Saw it)
