Was it really a medical condition or did he choose to become white? I know people have have probaley known it by now but i have always wondered.

He did not change his skin color! He has Vitiligo, you cannot bleach your skin!!

FIRST OF ALL HIS KIDS ARENT ADOPTED. his kids are mixed. and if u notice the jackson family isnt that dark skinned. so imagine when they mix with a white woman. the baby is bound to be light skinned. plus when the grow up they get darker. that is to the person who said they were adopted^ no it didnt change his dna. he had a skin disease. that kept making him have white spots on his body. and i suppose he didnt want to look weird so he got plastic surgery to just make him white. instead of black with white spots. so he'd look more "normal"

I heard because he has claimed that the change in the color of his skin is due to the skin condition vitiligo

I am trying to figure that out myself for the longest time. I really don't know why did Michael Jackson change his skin color.

He claims to have had a skin condition of deteriorating pigment...so instead of being splotchy, he bleached himself.
That's what he says.

he has a disease the pigment in his skin is the problem he has white blotches all over him and uses makeup to blend in the colors and has to use light shades. i know a white man who has it and has pink patches all over his skin.

I think he said because he has Vitiligo, that disease where you just lose all of your skin pigment gradually in uneven blotches. I guess he is saying that it was just easier to bleach all of his skin to look like the un-pigmented areas. That's what he has been known to say. Hey, who am i to call him liar.

I think! He had issues from way back! As a white guy...I wonder? Should I, or could I ! be better off black? Maybe I would have been a great basketball player? Most of them guys are black, (or African American) although I see meeny...lol stupide people! I think they should be labeled...lol Stupid! girl who knows. he says it is medical but he's also had numerous amounts of plastic surgery. it's kind of scary the way he looks now versus how he looked over 20 yrs ago.
