You should be, we have "camps" like this already constructed in remote areas which are guarded under armed guard for the most part.

What some people responding forget is that about 1200 muslims were rounded up without specific suspicions after 9/11, and not allowed to contact lawyers or even their families, and held indefinitely. If they were taken when their family wasn't around, no one would tell them where their relative had been taken. In some cases, whole families were taken, including children.
Most of these people were eventually released without charge, and as far as I know, no one was charged with being part of a terrorist plot who was picked up in those sweeps.
Not all Americans are racists, and those who are serious about fighting terrorism rather than putting on a show to scare people know that they need the cooperation of the Muslim community to find those who commit acts of terrorism.
Bush's actions from 9/11 to the present has disturbed enough people in the military, intelligence community, law enforcement, and average Americans, that he is unlikely to be given a free hand again, and if he tries anything like that for suspect reasons, someone will blow the whistle pretty quickly, and the press will probably cover it this time.
Most Americans value our democratic and legal system practices, and don't want to imitate second rate, Third World thug dictatorships that have to scare and disappear their own people to stay in power.
Somehow, after the first World Trade Center bombing in the 90s, we were able to catch the guys who did it, give them a trial, and lock them up without stripping Americans of their rights, or demonizing a whole race and religion.
I think we will return to that pattern as soon as Bush and his crew are gone.

I seriously doubt it. Even though I hate and despise terrorists I never considered all Muslims and Arabs as bad. I think the majority of the US citizens feel the same. Dont get me wrong: the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist. The vast majority of Arabs and Muslims are good people and try to distance themselves from the terrorist.

No. If there is another "terrorist" attack, the CIA will already have identified the terrorists well ahead of time and before the event. They also will have carefully prepared press releases ready for distribution.
The media will eagerly re-print them verbatim and begin using the politically correct terminology.
Every school child will use the "war on terror" bit when in fact its a "war of terror" and the only perpetrators are ourselves.
Everyone, including innocent decedents of the pilgrims will be suspect and have their rights reduced every single year.

This is a nice fund raising scare tactic from the "moveon" type groups. Its pathetic. We will not intern a race of people for the actions of a small extreme group within them. If anything we'll ask for their help as a community in pointing out the terrorists so we can engage them properly - meaning kill them.

The majority of Muslims are good people. Because the ones who distort their religious beliefs and do bad things get all the news time, people have this view of all Muslims. The Moderates should do positive things and get it news worthy to counter-act what the Radicals are doing.

Some people think the US Goverment (with Cheney in charge) will secretly support an attack to round up all Americans and take their property and rights. This would affect mostly the middle class, including whites, whether Muslim or not.
