This is an old issue somewhat.
Well we know Bush and Condi were both against her going... and umm isnt Condi head of the state dept...
A republican nobody was with her.
She misrepresented Israel and the Israeli PM said so. What good did she do. There are reasons that she was elected as a legislator and and not an executive.

When it's the job of Congress to approve or disapprove of any foreign policy decisions made by the President. They need to be well informed of the situation as well.

If your characterization was correct, which it isn't, as bush's state dept was involved in pelosi's trip, i would say it becomes her job when the ostensible leader of the country is a lying, thieving, torturing, mass murdering gangster whom no one trusts to handle anything anymore.

Why can't anyone get their facts straight? Pelosi had the permission of the state department to go to Syria and the trip was bipartisan (i.e. Republicans and Democrats went with her). Jeez you bushies are desperate.
