If I don't bring home straight A's then its hell for me. My parents don't ground me or anything but they lecture me. Heh they were mad that I received an 89 in Geom H. I'm still mad about that and its been three months. But overall I am a straight A student.

My parents weren't hard on me when I was in school. As long as I didn't bring home D's and F's which I didn't they were happy. Just just wanted me to try my best and I did. I came home with A's and B's. Getting a B isn't so bad your parents should be proud of you. That's sad that they lecture you for getting less then A's because I think as long as a student doesn't come home with D's or F's and tries their best that's good enough for me.

A lot. I have to bring home A's and B's in all of my classes. This is the reason why I' am an over-achiever in college now because of my parents. But I think them for making me try harder and be my best.

They never pressured me they supported me. They didn't really have to do much because I was a straight A student. When I didn't get an A, I was plenty mad at myself. I didn't need my parents to get mad at me.

not much, since being the oldest of three children i was able to receive better grades than my siblings. my siblings receive not so much high grades as i have, so the pressure is more into them.

Very little. I am able to get good grades already (A's and B's), and they know that I'm trying my hardest so there is no need for pressure.

They didn't really mind B's and C's. My dad always complained about my math grades (D's and F's) but I could never bring them up.

same here. except I can't get a C. Then I'm in trouble. My dad was like ur parents. Only now, he's not as strict.

my mom was cool she always told me to bring up the grade if i was failing but my dad never saw my grade just so he could go crazy i don't think so
