She just got a job 4 days ago and has a 22 mile drive to work at Walmart. I took her to work today and plan to take her to work tommorrow. I have my own job and have to have my own car. She cannot get it thru her head that she has to buy a car to go to work. The transporation runs out Monday morning when I have to return to work. I cannot loan her my automobile. I already told her she has to find somewhere else to live. The town maintenance man saw her driving thru the woods by the river in my new Jeep liberty. It had mud all over it and he had to pull her out of a mud hole. She is getting on my last nerve. What do I do to get her to get her **** together here?

take her to a car lot where they take weekly payments and borrow enough for a down payment or loan her enough for a down payment and then tell her she is on her own.If she screws up, pack her stuff up and take her to a homeless shelter and tell her this is where she will be until she gets on her own or someone takes her in.She will either get on her feet or shack with someone or learn to like the sheltered life.'"

Come on be fair here. She finally got a job so can't you be a little supportive here.? Did she work before and does she have any money saved? If she did not have a job before then why didn't she? If she just started this job she has not even gotten paid yet. Isn;t there any compromising that you can work on? If she drove your car and got it all muddy, did you ground her or anything? Isn't there any busses or anything that she can take to work? Is she responsible enough to keep the job now that she found one? Is she responsible enough that she would make car payments if you were to help her out by co-signing a loan on one? Doesn't have to be a new car but one that would get her back and forth to work. Could you possibly afford getting her a cheap car and make her carry insurance, etc? If she just started working how can she afford a car and another place to live? But these are only questions and suggestions...can not really know what you can do because you never said any thing about her attitude or personality before. You know...if she was lazy, etc?

Dear stressed out parent.
I was there. I will be 21 in the fall. However I got my drives license when I turned 19.
My Parents gave me 1000 dollars towards a car, and the rest I used from my savings.
I learned the hard way.I also moved out and moved in to a place with my best friend.
Growing up sucks but I am glad My parents made me take care of everything my self. Don't cave in. If you don't want to give her 1000 dollars then maybe you can co sign on a car loan. Good Luck.

Leasing and determining to purchase a motor vehicle are 2 particularly some issues, Leasing is nicely-nigh an prolonged-term condominium and which you would be able to the two turn the motor vehicle in at hire end or purchase it outright. procuring a motor vehicle is basically that - you very own the motor vehicle. Leasing takes greater proper credit and earnings than procuring. An 18 year old could have neither.

Get her the newspaper for used vehicle ads
Get her a new set of luggage, so she can pack her stuff
Give her the yellow pages so she can look up the local bus services
Get her to the local military recruiter's office
Or if none of the above doesn't work, start charging her rent

The best thing my parents ever did for me was absolutely nothing. I quickly learned how to take care of myself. Now I can handle any problem. You will never see me on the news for killing my boss because I might be fired because I can handle anything. My parents were the best when it came to tough love.

you can't make her understand anything.
she has to learn for herself.
just ask her a few times how she is getting to work on monday, what is her plan.
don't let her have the keys to your jeep!!!!
if you want her to move out, you have to take her stuff
and put it on the porch and change the locks.
and be willing to risk that she becomes homeless or turns to prostitution etc.
you can't make her get her **** together.
it's impossible.
you just have to wait
