why dont we start by just doing that to see whats up and I dont mean entertainment or extra or celebrety crap I mean how many soldiers died overseas and whats up with our upcoming elections

um yes and i listened to NPR, war news radio and all things considered and saw national news (katie couric) and nightly business report. background info on barak obama and how he got his start in chicago and gained confidence of people there.
it's not that unusual. you can also read newspapers or online news. a high govt official resigned cuz he is caught in a call-girl controversy. more problems with prez saying he'll veto the bill congress is passing.

They did talk about the democratic debates. They also talked about the deputy secretary of state consorting with an escort service , I think the man subsequently resigned.

I liked last night's abc news item tho about helocopter parents who hover over their adult children's every move including going to job interviews with them.

I can tell you, some parents came into a job interview with their kids and asking all the questions , that kid would not get the job , qualified or not . Mummy and Daddy should BUTT out and let the kid try and fail on his her own. Creating helpless little victims and then they wonder the kids keep moving home when life falls apart for them.

George Tenet is putting a book out soon. And he doesn't sound too happy with Dick Cheney or Bush administration. People are already defending prewar actions in preparation for his book's release. He's gona do some damage to already damaged credibility of Bush administration. Get his book. Search author, George Tenet at Amazon.
