to slide on a corner, i would put the clutch i and crank the wheel, depending on your speed and theconditions i would use the foot brake, especially if you do not have anti lock brakes, to burn out you need to revv the engine and then dump the clutch

Get a RWD V8 car with some power. Real cars do it with no problem. FWD cars,it just a waste of effort.Using the hand brake is cheating.
