Led Zeppelin has been in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1995
And if British bands and other non Americans weren't allowed in the Hall of Fame, the Hall of Fame would be pretty sparse.

Metallica yes highly influental metal band, and btw the first Metallica album came out in 83 not 85.

led zeppelin are already in. i think they were inducted in 1994. the minimum 25 years after their first album.
metallica's first was in '85 i think. so 2010 they'll be in i'm sure.
