Meaning: There is nothing holding white people back(institutional racism, discrimination, etc) and therefore no white person should complain about a country that has SO much white privilege. Education through HS is free! If you are White, reasonably well spoken and look presentable, you will be hired and gainfully employed. Maybe not rich, but Middle Class.

I am successful DESPITE of this. Am I suppose to overlook this now that I have made a little money? Sorry I don't sell out that cheap.

Sociald: your brother obviously wasn't as qualified as the MANY other white males who applied to his Pharmacology school, maybe that was his problem.

I'd have to agree, because the implication is that all a white person has to do to get a decent job in America is be clean and speak decent English. It's true, because that's pretty much all it takes for anyone to get a decent job in America, regardless of color.

ummm my brother did school and a job full time his wife worked full time then part time plus a mom, so my brother could go to college. ( hes a white boy btw )
He was going to school to be a pharmacist. He tried to get into a pharmacy school locally but was turned away because affirmative action said they had to give the spot to a minority.
My brother was more qualified than anyone else applying but he had to go to another state and pay about 40% more money.
So no I disagree.

My brother had a 3.85 gpa and btw he is now a pharmacist running a pharmacy. he just has about 12k dollars extra to pay off on his education bill.

That's absolutely true...just as it is for Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, etc...
Stop looking for the bogeyman of racism hiding behind every door and under every stone and get an education. You'll do just fine.

look, every immigrant group has had to struggle upon arrival in america and every group has done that and moved up from the bottom rung of the ladder. they've done that by working hard and sticking together and making their own way as a group and as individuals.
except you black folks.
not only do you not move up, but instead of working together to get past your perceived disadvantages, you develop and support a culture of gangs responsible for killing more black men then slavery ever did and coining terms like "nappy headed ho" which you then get mad at us for using!
are a lot of white folks not giving you a fair shake? you bet! but are you screwing yourselves in the process? HELL YEAH!

I don't understand your question. It seems apparent to me that some people on here just can't seem to stop with all the racial comments.. rumor.. and innuendo.
