I Would like to get my upper ear pierced but i have heard horror stories about ear deformaties and keloids. What should I do?

yes it deformities happen, but if you pierce it with a sterile needle, and the piercer knows what they`re doing, and you take care of your ear properly, it`ll turn out to be your favorite piercing ! cartilage piercing can take up to a year to heal, but they don`t hurt like people say they do .

everyone is different. regular piercing on the soft part of your ear takes 3 months. it should be the sam e for cartilage . it just hurts a little more.
