Everyone tells me that at school. Even the seniors. I dont get it though, I cant find anything wrong with my appearance and my friend cant either. I am overweight, is that the most likely reason they see me as ugly? Im 5'4''& weigh 225, BTW.

It is ugly to abuse your body. You are destroying your body by being so fat.
The kids may be blunt in saying that stuff to you, but they are right. Self-abuse, which you are doing, is inherently ugly.
You need a mental health counselor to help you understand why you are abusing yourself.
It is possible you are pretty. Until you eliminate the blubber and show yourself some self-respect, nobody will think you are pretty.

No, everyone did not tell you that. FEW people who want to hurt your feeling is telling you that you are ugly. Perhaps they have problem of their own and found you as a easy target. Unfortunately, those hurtful words by few can make you feel the whole world is against you. Trust me, it is not...
You seem a bit overweight, but you can work on it. Other than that, you are not ugly. Remember, ugliness is in heart. From that sense, those who are telling you ugly ARE the ugly ones.
Be careful when you try to lose weight. You want to be healthy, not just thin or worse, ultra-thin. Healthy people are happy people, and happy people are beautiful people - in every way.
To answer your updated question -
They call you ugly because they can. It doesn't have to be your weight. It doesn't have to be your facial features. It doesn't have to be your hair. It doesn't have to be ANYTHING particular.

they are putting you down because it is easy, you weigh more than a 5'4" girl should (no offense). if these people look ok, then they may just be doing it to be cool or make themselves feel better. just cuz someone isnt ugly doesnt mean they have good self esteem (but they wont let you know that) if the weight is your only problem and you are confident with your self, they are jealous that you are happy with your self when they arent happy with themselves. just keep being your beautiful self. confidence is everything. and if you feel the need, loose some weight, unless you are comfortable with your self. high school is an ugly place to be. let this be motivation to be all that you can be in life. get your degree and blow them outta the water on your ten year or 15, or 20 year reunion. If people are calling you ugly than they are probably referring to your weight. If you are uncomfortable with it, change it. It takes some time but 225 at 5"4 is overweight hun, sorry to say. You would be much healthier and a lot happier. Sounds to me like the people calling you names are pretty "ugly" themselves.

Yes, your weight is most likely the reason they call you ugly. People can be so mean, kids especially. You will likely outgrow this period of being overweight, and until then, tell them "Ugly on the inside is harder to cure."

Show them whats up. I know a lot of fat girls that are pretty && most of the time I don't even realize their weight. Their chill as hell. I bet your a wonderful person too, and obviousally your friends have realized that. Whoever it is talking **** is just imachure especially for their age. You turn to them, ***** them out, and let them know they need to grow up, or else keep their mouths shut because they are rude as hell. Gosh. Now I want to go give these kids a talk. wow some people are mean. dont worry about what other people think of your appearance. its your life. if your weight doesnt bother you, dont let them bother you. thats soo mean. im sure you arent the ugliest girl in the world!! sometimes i feel that way, everyone does sometimes :) just dont let what other people think change you. but if you feel like you might have to loose some weight to be more confident just take to your parents or doctor.
also, the people telling you that are really ugly. whats on the inside is what counts and if theyre saying mean stuff like that they are rEALLY REALLY UGLY!! like really they are!

A hole people like that aren't worth the air they breathe think that to be attractive a person must be as thin as a fishing pole and it doesn't matter what their face looks like and they can have a crappy attitude ta boot, and then that stick figure beep goes and fcuks their best friend and leaves them all alone in misery.These people luv misery and they love causing it steer clear of them .
