Mayberry and Deputy Fife of course. My husband, who is a cop, once had a crazy lady ask what his name was so she could file a complaint. He told her it was Deputy Fife. Later that evening his supervisor called him in and asked him if he had told someone that his name was Barney Fife because he had some wacko call demanding that Deputy Barney Fife be reprimanded! My husband admitted to it and actually it is very much against the general orders to give out a false name, but his supervisor was laughing so hard that he just told him not to do it again.
