I don't know much about the movie. I just remember one of the character's was name Rachel. And honestly, I don't know if it was from the 1980's but I'm pretty sure it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not positive this is the movie you are looking for but there was a movie called The Haunting of Hill House. Believe one of the girls in the movie was named Rachel.The house( the structure) itself was haunted.Walls,hallways etc. An excellent movie. Another named House On the Haunted Hill.May have them mixed up. Hope this helps!

My guess would be Amittyville Horror. The older version is much better than the new one.......
