It could very well happen. This is how it could play out.

1. Oakland takes JaMarcus Russel first overall.
2. Detroit decides to draft Calvin Johnson second overall.
3. Cleveland decides to pass on Adrian Peterson and take Brady Quinn.

The next three teams drafting, Tampa Bay, Arizona, and Washington, are all set at runningback. Also they each have a more pressing need anyways. That is how Peterson could drop to the vikings. In all reality though I think that cleveland is going to draft Adrian Peterson though.

Call me crazy but I think the Miami Dolphins will trade up to get Adrian Peterson cuz they need two RB's no no not Ricky Williams if he is allowed to come back Dolphins are looking for St. Loius for a trade for possible draft picks in 08

Yes the Browns will be skittish with the new injury concerns, they will go with Quinn or Thomas and Peterson will drop. GO TRIBE !!!

I have him going to the Browns. The Browns are going to pick either Peterson or Brady Quinn. I think that Quinn will be the one to drop to number 7.

Yes he will drop. I don't think the vikings will draft him either. He will slip a few more spots because of injury concerns.
