Aesthetically-speaking, complimentary colors (red and green, purple and yellow, and orange and blue) look well together.
It depends what the color combination is for, so I don't really have an opinion.
I mean, I hate green and brown together and I would never wear a combination like that, but I may use it in a painting, for example.
I don't know. It really depends.
