5.) smack your ankle with a mallet until swollen and discolored.
6.) tie a steak to it and play tug o' war with a bull mastif
7.) if your a guy, counituelly try to play footsie under the table when sitting accros from a really strong straight dude.
8.) place your ankle in the middle of the traffic.
9.) Your going down a hall. you make a left, a right, a left, another left, a right, stright, right, than... you step on a roller skate and fly 5ft into the air and land crooked on your ankle.
10.) go to philly and wear dallas cowboy socks.

What is the purpose???? Arrrrgh... I hope your teacher really has a purpose for this. This must be a punishment to you...
My answer (a bit on the sassy side) is that since the foot has 30 joints in it, any wrong movement (lets say a hyper-extension in the left direction) to any of those 30 joints would be a way to sprain your ankle, so that is thirty. The other foot has 30 joints as well, so that is another 30, which makes a total of 60 ways so far. Finally, if you hyper-extend those same joints to the right, you now have 60 more ways, for a total of 120 ways to sprain your ankle... more than the necessary 101.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

I sprained my ankle last year. All I did and PS this is for girls I was running in high heels and fell and my ankle went under me.

triped by a hose, triped by a log, triped by your brother Nintendo which is now also broke, ect ect ect.,.,.,.,.
a car hit me, a dog hit me, a bad boy hit me, a vase hit my ankle.. ect ect....
a necrosis do it, lack of calcium , forgot to move the foot once at a time, forgot the last step of the stair, forgot that naughty nephew just put a nail in your shoe... ect ect
saw black cat crossing, saw the sky so blue, see a beauty pass by, smell a good pie , ect ect that makes the above cause happened....
