Evolution is only a theory it isn't a fact.
The problem is Scientist can't explain why earth has life.
Its one thing for the Universe to make itself from nothing...
but for ooze and gooze to magically form, by itself... into life... from bits of molecules... randomly mixing together... until...
By complete oddless chance, an extremely single celled organizm, magically formed... in all its flawlessness...
It formed with the ability to reproduce and survive...
but which formed first? the DNA that gives the informationt to make it, or did a bunch of random atoms collide to create the organism?
You see how utterly insane this sounds... yet this is where the Evolution of life begins...
By magic, oddless chance, random sequence...
Wow that sounds like a sure science to me...
much, much more believable than an all intelligent Being, forming matter and energy, forming life... in all its vast complexities...
The only, ONLY reason why Evolution has caught on... is because it denies God... not a physical idol, like Zeus.... not a magical creature...
It rejects an all Knowing Creator, the Father of all science...
Creator of laws and Universal mathmatics... Order, perfection, life, purpose...
Evolution denies that, and paints a fairytale picture of Nothing, creating the universe from Nothing....
Forming laws, matter, energy, particles... atoms... planets, galaxies....
all by oddles chance... randomly, magically...
Order from disorder... intelligence from ignorance... the Universe from Nothing...
How? ....
Evolution has no answer... because God is the only answer...
No not a magical mythical creature...
a Benevolent, Intelligent Being...
So you evolutionist may ask... "Who made God?"
God made the Universe... but he also made Time...
Without Time, there is no begining or end.
God is outside of time, He is not helpless to the laws of his creation.
He always was, he had no begining... because He invented the concept of "Begining, and Time"
He is not made up of matter or energy, because He created those things.
He cannot do everything... no... he cannot create anything that overpowers Him...
He cannot make a rock heavier than he can lift.
He is the Database of all scientific knowledge..
He knows How every scientific thing works...
And he knows, that Evolution is not a science...
Its a religion, dedicated to explaining our existance... at all cost, by denying God.
The evidence is not solid...
It's pure speculation... Evolution...
Embrased by the masses, regardless of scientific Fact..., because it attempts to explain everything...
You simply can't have a program without a programmer, or art without an artist, or civilization without people...
likewise you have no Creation without a Creator.
And Im here to tell you one thing.
The Creator isn't Evolution's Nothing...
It's God.
not a man-made concept... not a belief
its simply God.
Here's to the believers(evolutionist).
Your faith is more vast than ours.

If you mean the first of each living thing, then it was a hybrid or mutation from something similar but enough different to recognizable.
If you mean the very first living thing that began the evolution into everything else, then the currently accepted explanation is that at some point proteins that could only be made chemically resulted in a structure which could make copies of itself. (Proteins attracted to it coupled into an exact copy which could separate and then further copy itself.) When more of these copies are made in a solution, it is assumed that they form something like a virus. After lots of years, some of the protovirus forms merge and are able to take apart other forms and use the proteins to make more copies. This is one definition of living. If you mean living as in plants and animals, then you have to go back to the time when plants and animals were indistinguishable and then go back a few million years to watch what I described above become the plantimal.

Evolution theory says the first cells developed from self-replicating molecules. These self-replicating molecules only need a method of preserving their chemical structure, and the ones with the best chemical structures and methods of self-replication won out over lesser ones. So, the principle of natural selection guaranteed that over time increasingly stable and complex molecules would form and eventually become simple prokaryotic cells that are little more than genetic material, cytoplasm, a cell membrane and wall. Remember that the ingredients that make up humans are fairly common elements in the world, so it's not a stretch to say that inorganic molecules became organic molecules, and eventually cells in the past. Some famous experiments have been successful in producing self-replicating molecules that exhibit qualities found in cells.

Related animals come from common ancestors. For example people do consider that dogs and wolves are different animals with common ancestors. As the species develops and adapts to changes in environment the DNA undergoes tiny changes every few generations. The point at which we consider DNA changes to be sufficient to be considered as a new species is an arbitrary choice.
Keep in mind that in scientific usage of the word 'theory' is different from common usage (see link).
The Theory of Evolution is based on sound scientific principles and is what I would choose to believe until better scientific evidence comes along.

Scientists do not know, and most of them do not much care either. They have better things to do than to worry about this. However evidence is accumulating about things which may be related to the question, the self-organisation of lipids etc.on some mineral surfaces is an example.
And by the way Darwin's theory of evolution has little or nothing to do with the appearance of life.

What kind of question is this? 'Evolution can't answer it either'. Considering that this all occurred 4.5 Billion years ago, and that fundamentalists haven't come up with a model showing how God was created they're not in a position to be denegration other's beliefs even if they disagree with them.
Science and religion can coexist just fine. To answer you're question, single cell organisms evolved 4.5 Billion years ago.
At the time earth was undergoing dramatic changes, complex molecules were being formed, and one a complex molecule suddenly operated on its own in a very primitive way.
At any rate, we don't know how common life is in the universe hence the search for extraterrestial life.

Facts?
Like, the first cell that appeared about 4 billion years ago knew how to write and left a record of its whereabouts, and where it came from?
I would venture that you may one of those fundamentalist who only believes in the bible. So you given the facts about the following:
where did all the water from the flood (the one that covered the highest mountain, the mount Everest) go?
If we all are descendants from Noah, how come there are Africans, Caucasian and Asian people around?
I could go on for ages, but the point is this: religious fundamentalists have NOTHING on science. You can decide to be enlighted and use your brain, or remain ignorant and put all your faith in a fairy tale book lavish with made up stories.
Your call.

"If you think YOU can answer this without nothing more than speculating, you are lying to yourself and others here."
So what facts have you got?
This reminds me of something I heard on the radio once, I'm afraid I don't remember who said it so I can't give proper attribution. Somebody was explaining how he had proof the Bible was true, the premise was; In the Bible Jesus says that the Bible is the word of God, the Bible also tells us that Jesus is the son of God and is therefore perfect and infallible, so when He tells us that the Bible is the word of God, it must be a fact.
By this logic, I can tell you that I am God and you must believe me because I am God, and I shall tell you that evolution is a fact, but it happens to just be a little game I made up to amuse myself, and I certainly didn't create you clowns in My image!

You are sorely mistaken if you believe evolution has anything to do with abiogenesis. Conjecture based on the experimentation done is at least several orders of magnitude better than any " fairy tale " you could spin. Statistically speaking, it only had to happen once and that once is many orders of magnitude more likely than that " fairy tale " you want to believe, statistically speaking. Why don't you try coming up with some " facts ".

"god" is the same theory. An all powerful force that has been around for ever? lame. Its less believable than evolution. If you cant show me where god came from without faith or speculating than your not only lying to yourself, your trying to spread your ignorance to every one here. Buddhism is the truth. No god, no afterlife. just existence.

billions of years ago .. when there was only water and land on earth .. the tides washing up on shore would wash elements .. minerals ect back into the ocean.. and slowly plant life occured.. and over the course of billions of years .. sea animals..
